CELLULAR TELEPHONY – didactic equipment  – it is an educational system for the study of digital cellular telephony. The reference standard is GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication), but the proposed educational model must be  suitable for learning the nature of cellular telephone communications, whatever is the reference standard. The module does not include a real operating cell phone – theoretical topics: basic functions of the GSM cellular telephone, telephone keyboard and display, microphone and loudspeaker, Digital Signal Processor (DSP), presetting for the connection to an external microphone and loudspeaker, presetting for the connection to a personal computer. Fault simulation. It must be possible to perform the following experiences: Power on and functional check of the system, Functional check of the transmitter subsystem, functional of the receiver sub system, Functional check of the control panel subsystem, Troubleshooting of the transmitter sub system, Troubleshooting of the receiver sub system, Troubleshooting of the control panel subsystem. The faults must be inserted by microswitches mounted on the board; the module must be provided with a  EISA BUS 31+18 INTERFACE, connections and test points by 2mm terminals.

The module must be supplied with a theoretical and practical manual.
