Residential and Building Inteligent Control System
HOME AUTOMATION LABORATORY.
This laboratory must be designed for the study of the EIB/KNX technology to allow the student a practical training, based on the performance of guided experiments. Industrial type components must be educationally adapted by using a modular panel system to permit the step by step assembling from the simplest circuit to the most complex system.
The study subjects must include the following categories:
1 – Lighting plant
2 – Shutter control plant
3 – Safety plant
4 – Heating/air conditioning plant
5 – Scenery module
6 – Plant with PLC, Touch panel and Time switch
For all the categories the manuals must include practical exercises by using standard EIB components. Each experiment must describe from the design and configuration to the commissioning of the system. At the same time, the student will be able to find important information with relevant terminologies required for the assembling of the EIB/KNX systems.
